GGS’ illustration team has over approximately 500 years of collective experience creating and revising 2D illustrations as well as rendering 3D graphics. An increasing number of all technical information development projects with which GGS participates in require some level of rendering art from 3D models. GGS’ illustration team has the capability to use a variety of commercial 3D model software packages. These, coupled with other publishing tools allow GGS to accept different file types from various 3D model software packages and create 2D illustrations to meet the customers’ requirements.
The GGS team is fully versed in interpreting engineering drawings/parts lists, bill of materials, as well as understanding, and working with a variety Engineering Models, rendering three-dimensional artwork, and producing animation sequences.
Our team members experience ranges from 5 years to 25 years of experience as technical illustrators serving multiple industries including defense manufacturers, aerospace, automotive, and and heavy equipment / trucking and off road industries. Familiar with illustration standards and specifications for the commercial aerospace and defense industry. Knowledge of aircraft, engine, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical/airframe systems. The ability to read and interpret engineering, customer, vendor, and engineering documentation.

- Animation Sequences (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality)
- Vector illustrations from raster images, these illustrations can be rendered as simplified line art or Photorealistic illustration.
- Raster image modification, which includes cloning, silhouetting and file conversion.
